Trojan Eddie

Small town hustler and self-styled salesman, Trojan Eddie becomes entangled in a web of deceit and betrayal when he crosses into a sub-culture of settled travellers and bare knuckled fighters. After a life on the dole, a history of bungled burglaries and a bad marriage, he is determined to rise above his life on the fringes of society. When his boss, wonderfully played by Richard Harris, falls in love with Kathleen, a young traveller girl, Eddie seizes the opportunity of rising above his station by setting up in business on his own. The vengefulness and murder that ensue are more than he bargained for as he strives to ignore the innate sense of decency that runs through him.
