Jedi master Qui-Gonn Jinn (Liam Neeson) and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) escort Queen Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman) from the besieged planet of Naboo to Coruscant, home of the Galactic Senate, meeting on the way the young Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), a boy strangely powerful in the ways of the Force, on the isolated planet of Tatooine.
