Richleau must draw on all of his knowledge of white magic to defeat the resourceful Satanists. Boasting a screenplay by Richard Matheson (I Am Legend; numerous Twilight Zone episodes), who adapted Dennis Wheatley’s celebrated source novel, The Devil Rides Out was a passion project for Christopher Lee and remains one of Hammer Studios’ most sophisticated productions.
