Catherine Irving left her house on Tuesday morning 28th October, 1998, having planned to meet a school friend in a suburban park. The park-keeper, sixty-three year old Adam Duffy, spends the morning telling her stories about his past as they wander about the quiet little park in search of her friend. He invites her to share his lunch with him in his hut. Six years later, Catherine Irving is found hanging from her bedroom window.
