How can we build a greener city?

For Night of Ideas 2023, in association with the French Embassy in Ireland, we focus on different ways in which cities, citizens and nature can co-exist to create a sustainable environment. Green City Life (La Belle Ville) presents various world-wide initiatives that better connect human beings with nature in urban surrounds. A follow-up discussion will explore these ideas, and also the challenges within a Dublin context, as perceived by the panel through their own work.

The Night of Ideas is a worldwide initiative spearheaded by Institut Français celebrating the stream of ideas between countries, cultures and generations.

Followed by a panel discussion with filmmakers, François Marques and Manon Turina; landscape architect and researcher, Dermot Foley; grower and educator, Caitriona Kenny; and environmental activist/podcaster, John Gibbons (host).
