An intimate portrait of the singer-songwriter’s brief, incandescent career and enduring influence. Drawing on extensive archival footage, studio recordings, and interviews with family, collaborators, and peers, the film traces Buckley’s artistic development, emotional intensity, and restless perfectionism. It explores the making of his debut album, Grace, the pressures of sudden acclaim, and the unfinished ambitions cut short by his untimely death, revealing an artist whose voice continues to resonate.

The preview screening on February 7th will be followed by a Q&A with director Amy Berg hosted by Aoife Barry.
