IRISH FOCUS: A VISUAL STORM Director: Sinéad Walsh 64 mins, Ireland/Italy, 2025, Digital, F-Rated Watch trailer Book cinema tickets Telling the untold story of avantgarde, resistance artist, the Italian, Aurelio Caminati (1922 – 2012), A Visual Storm explores the inner turbulence and uncompromised vision of a provocative master. Caminati spent 13 summers at the Cill Rialaig Artist Retreat in Co. Kerry, where he was inspired by Irish storytelling traditions and the elemental forces of nature evident in his paintings of the stormy Atlantic and wild Irish landscapes. Sinéad Walsh’s film interweaves powerful landscape imagery with archive footage, performance and interviews with the artist, his peers and critics. Followed by a Q&A with Sinéad Walsh hosted by art historian Catherine Marshall. Notes by Sunniva O’Flynn Director: Sinéad Walsh 64 mins, Ireland/Italy, 2025, Digital, F-Rated Watch trailer
