IFI YOUTH PANEL – LA HAINE

In the aftermath of a brutal riot, three disgruntled teenagers roam the underbelly of Paris. With tension brewing, and bitter with rage, they find themselves at the precipice of yet another violent eruption. Mathieu Kassovitz’s breakthrough film boldly weaves its political message with the street culture of ‘90s urban Paris. La Haine was chosen by the IFI Youth Panel as a distillation of nihilism and youth rage.

IFI’s Youth Panel is formed from 22 & Under cardholders, 22 & Under card offers €5.00 tickets for young people aged between 16-22 – see more at ifi.ie/22under
