Artur Wyrzykowski’s feature debut is an extremely tense and gripping portrayal of parental love even in the face of the most horrific of circumstances. Bartek (Tomasz Schuchardt) is a crisis management expert whose skills come to unexpected use when his teenage son Daniel (Borys Otawa) murders his school bully. Holed up in the apartment of fiancée Maja (Paulina Gałązka), Bartek plans to flee the country with Daniel. When Maja tells him she is pregnant, and suspicion dawns that Daniel’s story may not be the whole truth, Bartek’s dilemma worsens, forcing decisions upon him as the net closes around his son.
