With the March release of his highly anticipated second animated feature, Flow, we look back at this gorgeous debut from Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis. Written, created, edited, and scored by himself, it is the simple and wordless tale of a boy on an island trying to find his way out, with just a bird for company. Travelling across the landscape on motorbike, he does everything to evade a dangerous giant who swallows up everything in its path.
