The Art of Loss is a wholly original interspecies meditation on bereavement. Filmmaker and playwright Carmel Winters joins their dog pack in re-imagining the death of their mother and dog not as the end, but a beginning of new ways of seeing and being with each other. Recording every day for three years, returning to the same landmarks time and time again, Winters creates a queer and quirky exploration, radiant with love and meaning, of aging and loss.
