HORSESHOE

Director: Edwin Mullane & Adam O’Keeffe

88 mins, Ireland, 2025, Digital

Four estranged siblings return home to the West of Ireland after the death of their father where they attempt to navigate inheritance, grief, and long-buried grudges. All are at a crossroads in their lives and could do with the support, both financial and emotional, of the family. But trapped together in their childhood home with the ghost of their curmudgeonly father looming in every shadow, the fragile family bonds that have held them together are threatening to fall apart.

Blending free-flowing, sibling banter with moments of affection, comedy, and melancholy, this feature debut from Adam O’Keefe and Edwin Mullane, filmed in the harsh winter landscapes of Sligo and Leitrim, is anchored by powerful performances from, among others, Carolyn Bracken, Lalor Roddy, Jed Murray, and Mary Murray.

There will be Open Captioned screenings at 13.40 on Tuesday 9th, and 20.50 on Thursday 11th.
