Fran the Man

Director: Stephen Bradley

Competing in the FAI Cup for the first time should have been amateur Irish football club St Peter’s United’s finest hour, but when blundering assistant manager Fran Costello learns that some of his players have taken a bribe to fix the match, he realises it’s time to unleash his inner detective to expose the fraudsters!

Fran’s life is further complicated by a slow-burning infatuation with Jackie Charlton – the mothers of one of his young players. For someone who has used football to shy away from life, Fran is being catapulted headfirst into all it has to offer.
