CULTURE NIGHT: BEHIND THE SCREENS IS A MUSEUM

For Culture Night 2024, The Tiernan MacBride Library will transform into a pop-up museum, full of interesting and unusual artefacts from the collections of the IFI Irish Film Archive. Archive staff will be on hand to explain the stories behind the objects and their choices for display. Featuring highlights from the moving image, documents and artefacts collections, this experience will give you a real understanding of how we look after Ireland’s national film heritage.

Tours take place on Friday, September 20th at 6pm & 7pm and will last approximately 40 minutes.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance – please email library@irishfilm.ie to reserve a spot.
