Wild Strawberries is our bi-monthly film club for over 55s.

Based on US writer Cheryl Strayed’s memoir, this beautiful looking film follows Reese Witherspoon in the title role as the woman who embarks on a solo, three-month, 1,100-mile trek across America, after her mother’s death from lung cancer. Sometimes short on dialogue but big on introspection, the film offers a counterpoint to the buddy-talkie A Walk in the Woods and the stunning landscapes will make you want to pack up and head for the hills.

Tickets: €4.25 including regular tea/coffee before the event. Wild Strawberries is our film club for over 55s. If you are lucky enough to look younger please don’t take offence if we ask your age.
