IRISH FILM INSTITUTE (IFI) PRESENTS

IDOL WORSHIP:

AN EVENING WITH MINK STOLE AND PEACHES CHRIST

ONE NIGHT ONLY!

SATURDAY APRIL 18th

Friday January 16th 2026: IDOL WORSHIP comes to Dublin for a special one night only event at the Irish Film Institute, marking the Dublin debuts of cult cinema icon MINK STOLE and drag impresario PEACHES CHRIST. This special ONE NIGHT ONLY event will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 18th.

Strictly limited priority VIP tickets (including meet and greet) are now on sale from ifi.ie. General admission tickets will go on sale from Tuesday, January 20th.

This acclaimed live conversation and performance event is a rare opportunity to experience two legends of queer counterculture together onstage for the first time in Ireland. For one unforgettable night, Idol Worship explores Mink Stole’s extraordinary legacy, from her groundbreaking collaborations with John Waters and the Dreamlanders to decades of scenestealing work across film, theatre, and music. Scandal, glamour, filth, and divine weirdness are all celebrated through conversation, film clips, and carefully curated archival moments.

More than a retrospective, IDOL WORSHIP is also a funny, heartfelt portrait of a two-decade
friendship and creative partnership. Hosted and mischievously guided by Peaches Christ, the
evening unfolds as part interview, part performance, and part love letter to Mink Stole’s enduring
influence and the chosen-family bond that connects these two artists.

Expect outrageous stories, candid revelations, rare footage, and a once in a lifetime chance to
experience Mink Stole and Peaches Christ live at one of Ireland’s most prestigious cultural
institutions.
