All at the Irish Film Institute are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the great Seán Rocks, who uplifted and showcased the work of Ireland’s artistic and creative community to radio listeners across the nation through Arena on RTÉ Radio One.
A wonderful storyteller, an inquisitive interviewer and possessing a huge bank of knowledge across all artforms, Seán’s genuine passion and love for the arts was always evident. He kept so many of us company in the evenings, he will be sorely missed. Our sincerest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues, especially the Arena family. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
