The board and staff of IFI are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Ross McDonnell.
Ross was a supremely talented photographer, director and an Emmy Award-winning cinematographer. In recent years we had the great pleasure of screening Ross’s powerful, Emmy-award nominated Elian and of hosting him for a conversation following screening of his exquisite Colony. His work was infused with passion and integrity and his consummate skill was evident in every frame.
Our thoughts are with Ross’s family and his many close friends and colleagues at this very sad time.
