Jean Eustache’s 1973 epic about the lives and loves of a trio of Parisian outsiders is a movie that breaks down the barriers between audiences and on-screen characters like no other; by the end you quite literally feel as if you’ve lived alongside Eustache’s vulnerable trio of lovers.
