Life’s No Piece of Cake
An insightful and moving tragicomedy about a 15-year-old girl, Kim, and her struggle to cope with her mother’s death. Alienated by her father Markus’s grief, Kim retreats further into her Goth-like persona, eventually running away to Denmark with boyfriend Alex, a local DJ. Markus is propelled to act and takes his seriously ill mother Gerlinde and her lively carer off to search for Kim on a journey that becomes one of self-discovery for both father and daughter.
Age Recommendation: 16+. Please note: contains a strong sexual scene.
