To mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, we are showing this lively new addition to the canon of ‘post-Wall’ films. Frederike is a 10-year-old girl who attempts with her friends to use their teleportation device to beam her uncle back to East Germany on November 9, 1989. Instead, as they witness on TV, they end up beaming everyone in their town into West Germany! They have to race against time to undo the experiment before the nasty border guards open fire…
