Wild Strawberries is our bi-monthly film club for over 55s.

Dustin Hoffman revels and surprises in this role as stern choirmaster Carvelle to a bunch of varyingly talented schoolboys at the fictional American Boychoir School. When gifted Texan lad Stet arrives, the not-easily-impressed Master and his ambitious no. 2, Drake (Eddie Izzard), are reluctant at first to give him the training that will allow his voice to soar. Making the most of age-old traditional choral arrangements, director Girard (The Red Violin) lets the music star in this ultimately uplifting tale.
