Adapted from Rearden Conner’s novel and set during the Irish Rebellion of 1921, the film stars James Cagney as Dr Lenihan, a medical professor with secret ties to the IRA One of dr Lenihan’s students is irish-American Kerry O’Shea (Don Murray), who’s pulled into the political conflict when the Black and tans gun down his best friend. Kerry’s loyalties become conflicted when he discovers that his mentor dr Lenihan is also the leader of an IRA guerrilla faction.THIS SCREENING IS NOW SOLD OUT.
