This sequin-filled account of piano maestro Liberace’s secret love affair with Scott Thorson is revelatory – not only for the relationship itself, but also for the superb performances of Michael Douglas as the pomaded, perma-tanned entertainer and Matt Damon as the eager-to-please, much younger man.

Based on Thorson’s book, it covers the final decade in the life of the acquisitive star as he becomes increasingly controlling of the drug-using Thorson. Features some brief sex scenes.
