We Are Together Director: UK / SOUTH AFRICA COLOUR DIGITAL VIDEO 83 MIN Book cinema tickets To mark the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights, and to launch the Human Rights Film School Competition, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) and the IFI are proud to host two special screenings of the inspiring documentary We Are Together. We Are Together tells the remarkable and moving story of a group of children in South Africa who use music to overcome hardship and loss. It is the story of an orphanage, unlike one you’ve ever seen before, and of the drive of these amazing young singers and their teachers to make it to London for a series of concerts. The Human Rights Film School Competition invites young filmmakers and human rights advocates to submit a short film on a human rights issue. The grand prize is a place in the Summer Human Rights Film School in Venice, and includes access to the Venice Film festival. Director: UK / SOUTH AFRICA COLOUR DIGITAL VIDEO 83 MIN
