THE IMPOSSIBLE KID

Director: Eddie Nicart

PHILIPPINES • 1982 • COLOUR • DIGITAL VIDEO • 81 MIN

Following the frankly indescribable For Your Height Only, one of the unlikely hits of last year’s Horrorthon, we proudly present its sequel, another thrilling outing for pint-sized secret agent ’00’ as portrayed by legendary martial arts dynamo Weng-Weng — all two feet nine inches of him. This time out, Weng-Weng is working with the Manila branch of Interpol and is in hot pursuit of mysterious arch-villain Mr. X, who’s easily identifiable by the white sock he wears on his head. What you need to know is that the action comes thick and fast, as our 83cm tall bad-ass kicks the bejesus out of anybody who gets in his way. Weng-Weng makes for a far more convincing kung-fu action hero than Steven Seagal ever did, and he’s quite the ladies man too. Give us The Impossible Kid over Quantum of Solace anytime.
