To mark the release of A Walk in the Woods, this month’s Hangover Lounge – our monthly indulgent Sunday afternoon of brunch and a classic double bill – presents one of the great cinematic double acts, Robert Redford and Paul Newman in their multiple-Oscar-winning collaborations with director George Roy Hill.

Written by William Goldman, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (14.00) follows the careers of the two Wild West outlaws from their ousting from the famed Hole In The Wall Gang to their flight to Bolivia.

In caper film The Sting (16.00), the two are professional grifters who unite in a complicated and incredibly entertaining plot to con a mob boss. (Notes by Kevin Coyne.)
