The IFI’s FREE monthly film club gathers to discuss three of the most exciting titles screening in September. We’ll be talking about the re-issue of Plein Soleil, René Clément’s adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novel The Talented Mr. Ripley; Paolo Sorrentino’s exquisite new film set in contemporary Rome The Great Beauty; and David Lowery’s Bonnie and Clyde inspired Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, starring Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck.

Our panel will include the Head of the IFI Irish Film Archive, Kasandra O’Connell; film critic, Gavin Burke; and broadcaster for RTE Radio 1’s Arena, Evelyn O’Rourke. This event is open to all so please join our panel to voice your thoughts on any one or all of the films above.

Simply book your FREE seat by contacting the IFI Box Office on 01 679 3477 or emailing boxoffice@irishfilm.ie (given that events can sell out, please note that your emailed booking requests must be confirmed by reply email from the Box Office in order to be considered valid).
