Song O’ My Heart John McCormack made his talking picture debut in this drama about a disconsolate concert singer who retires to a country village until the unexpected return of his former sweetheart and her two children (one of whom is played by Maureen O Sullivan in her screen debut) inspires him to resume his career and to perform a concert of songs – much to the delight of McCormack’s millions of fans worldwide.
