The GAZE 2007 shorts programme has been selected by the team responsible for the Iris Prize. The Iris Prize is an international gay and lesbian short film prize which is open to any short film which is by, for, about or of interest to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex audiences and which must have been completed within two years prior to the prize deadline – June 29, 2007. The winner will rceive the largest prize for a gay and lesbian short film in the world, valued at £25,000.
GAZE, The International Dublin Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, with 14 partner international gay and lesbian film festivals, is officially recognised as a nominating festival for the Iris Prize.
