Based on Conor McPherson’s This Lime Tree Bower which premiered in Dublin in 1995, Saltwater perfectly captures the restlessness and idiosyncracies of life in a small town. The film is filled with sensitivity and humour and features fine performances from Peter MacDonald, Brendan Gleeson, Conor Mullen, Gina Moxley and Laurence Kinlan.
