Shakespeare’s timeless story of doomed love is retold for a new generation in this adaptation by Julian Fellows (Downtown Abbey) starring Douglas Booth (Great Expections) as Romeo and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) as Juliet. This fairly traditional take on the star-crossed romance compares with Baz Luhrmann’s modern classic and displays great performances from the teen stars.
