A forum for debate on partnership rights, where the audience will have an opportunity to exchange their views with a panel of guests following the screening of two short films: The Bridge (Dir. George Barbakadze, Australia, 2006, 8 mins.) looks at a gay male couple and the issue of residency for non-nationals; and 1961 (Dir. Jane Anderson, USA, 2000, 30 mins.) looks at one half of a lesbian couple (movingly played by Vanessa Redgrave) who will not be recognised as next of kin when she most needs it. The discussion will follow the screenings will be joined by Two People and Two People.
