Lial, Hassan and Maradona Akkouch are talented dancers and musicians who have lived in the Berlin district of Neukolln since early childhood, but the family’s residency status is still unresolved and they live in constant fear of being deported to Lebanon. An energising and moving documentary that goes beyond the typical cliches about migrants in ‘problem’ areas to portray the everyday lives of three young people struggling for their family’s right to stay.
