MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL SINGALONG

Director: TERRY GILLIAM, TERRY JONES

91 mins, U.K., 1975, Digital.

This film screened on Wednesday 14th  October 2015.

Arguably the Python team’s crowning achievement, the IFI is delighted to present this 40th anniversary screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, following a very successful screening of Life of Brian at this year’s IFI Open Day.

Featuring a specially filmed introduction from the remaining Pythons, and sing-a-long subtitles, it’s the perfect opportunity to revel in the group’s typically idiosyncratic take on Arthurian legend, in which King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table face terrible peril from the likes of the Black Knight, the Knights Who Say ‘Ni’, the rabbit of Caerbannog, Tim the Enchanter, and, of course, some spectacularly rude French knights.
