As part of the second ‘Journees de la Francophonie’, an annual celebration of French language and culture, the IFI and Cultural Service of the Embassy of France in Ireland are proud to present the Irish premiere of Moliere by Ariane Mnouchkine, a four-hour long masterpiece about the life of the prodigious and universal author. An extraordinary epic tale, with 120 actors, 600 participants, 1300 costumes.

The film will be introduced by Georges Banu, international drama critic, author of numerous books on theatre and director of the review Alternatives theâtrales.
