Hans and Kerstin Stralstrom, a couple who are both 83 years old, put their 60-year long marriage in jeopardy when they set out to wallpaper their cottage in Pojkj€rvi, located outside Kiruna in the north of Sweden. Observing the couple’s discussions and arguments, Paradise is a charming and gentle romantic docu-comedy which showcases the vicissitudes of a long-lasting relationship and provides a glimpse of way of life which is slowly fading away.
