For the budding premiership player in your house comes this affectionate tale telling the story of young Salford Georgie who happens upon the legendary Sir Matt Busby on his way to a funeral and steals his wallet. Caught in the act, he gives plenty of back-chat to Sir Matt, who agrees to coach the boy’s 7-a-side team for the Junior Cup. But first the boy has to convince his mother that training won’t stop him studying for a place in the local grammar school. Brian Cox is great in the Busby role, but it’s young Georgie who really shines, with some neat footwork too.
