This film screened on Friday 18th  September 2015.

The IFI celebrates Culture Night 2015 with a free screening of family-friendly Irish shorts.

Revisiting the collections of the IFI Irish Film Archive, the programme includes live-action and animation films from the early days of cinema to the present day. This year’s varied programme will include films about farming families in days gone by; fondly remembered public information films, Knot in Front of the Children (anti-smoking) and The Safe Cross Code (“Remember 1! Look for a safe place”); and dramas about children making their way in the world.

This programme will be broken into three parts running from 18.15 to 20.15. Slots start at 18.15, 19.00 and 19.45. Come for one or come for all. The event is FREE but ticketed. Simply collect your ticket at the IFI Box Office. Recommended age 7+
