GAZE: THE BOYS ON FILM

This programme of films from the IFI Irish Film Archive includes those made by and featuring The Boys, Micheal MacLiammoir and Hilton Edwards, stars of Dublin’s theatrical and social scene and for decades the city’s only openly gay couple in public life.

Produced by MacLiammoir and Edwards, this ghostly story set in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains is narrated by longtime friend of the couple Orson Welles.
