A young boy gets bullied in school for being a vegetarian and returns thirteen years later to take his revenge after teaming up with a horror movie fanatic who helps him become a new slasher icon. This low-budget, very politically incorrect horror-comedy from British director Christian James is very funny. It’s raw and rough and indie to the core, but Freak Out delivers the yuks with an admirable consistency.
