FRANCO-IRISH LITERARY EVENT: ALL THAT GLITTERS (FREE EVENT)

Director: Hervé Mimran & Géraldine Nakache

100 minutes, France, 2010, Colour, 35mm

The film will be introduced by Philippe Milloux, Director of the Alliance Française.

To mark the occasion of the 15th Franco-Irish Literary Festival (April 4th – 6th), the IFI, in partnership with the Alliance Française and the French Embassy, is delighted to present a free screening of Hervé Mimran and Géraldine Nakache’s entertaining and astute All that Glitters. Portraying the changing lives – this year’s festival theme – of two working class girls who live on the outskirts of Paris, the film traces the shifts in their friendship as they attempt to break away from the shopping centre jobs they disdain.

This event is open to all. Simply book your FREE seat by contacting the IFI Box Office on 01 679 3477 or emailing boxoffice@irishfilm.ie (given that events can sell out, please note that your emailed booking requests must be confirmed by reply email from the Box Office in order to be considered valid).
