Eight-year-old Meigo accidentally sees her blind sister, Jing, kissing tomboy Chalkie. The little girl’s jealousy is so strong that the three are torn apart. Lily struggles with her Alzheimers and the fragile memory of her youth but when old friend Yen pays her a visit with the news that he has Aids, the two rediscover the meaning of love and life. Finally, there is Chalkie. Back before she left her hometown to join a band, the confused ‘boy-girl’ teenager bound up her growing breasts, But now, an impromptu performance changes her life.
