A screening of three community based short documentaries; Getting Back To Me, Shelter From The Storm, and Pavee Culture: Our Ways Our Voices.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with both community film-making participants and facilitators, focusing on issues such as access to the medium, funding for projects, emphasis on process or product, evaluation, copyright, distribution, and ownership of projects.
Panelists include: Caroline Jacobs (Access Films, Galway), Stephen Moynihan (Outreach Officer, FII), Steven Swinney (Merchant’s Quay,Ireland), and Brendan O Caolain (Pavee Point Culture). This is a free event.
