This multi-Academy-Award®-nominated tale follows six-year-old Hushpuppy (Quvenzhané Wallis, 2013 Best Actress nominee) who lives in the Bathtub, a fictitious area outside New Orleans. Below the levee line, the residents live what appears to be a chaotic, ramshackle existence in which community spirit and acceptance of difference are important.
