BEALTAINE FESTIVAL: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day

Our Wild Strawberries Film Club teams up with the Bealtaine Festival in May and, in keeping with the festival theme, invites you to open the door on new and Irish films with three great events.
MAY 1, 11AM at The IFI is the start of the annual Bealtaine All-Ireland Film Tour, organised by access>CINEMA and The IFI in conjunction with local groups and sponsored by Seven Seas. This year’s film is the delightful comedy Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, starring the wonderful Frances McDormand and Amy Adams with Ciaran Hinds brilliantly if surprisingly cast as a lingerie designer.
Tickets are free but booking is essential through IFI Box Office from April.
For the film tour see: www.accesscinema.ie or www.bealtaine.com
