PROGRAMME 1:
EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS
Demonstrating the perils of poor hygiene in a grimy grocery shop and cafe in Henry Street, this film provided a great vehicle for the comedic talents of a slovenly young Nora O’Mahony (Wanderly Wagon’s Godmother) and an interesting record of dining-out provisions in 1950s Dublin.
FILM INFO: 15 minutes, 1951, Black and White
