ARCHIVE AT LUNCHTIME: PROGRAMME 1 (JUNE 2014 – FREE EVENT)

Join us for free lunchtime screenings of films from the IFI Irish Film Archive. This month we mark Princess Grace’s visits to Ireland (Grace of Monaco opens at the IFI on June 6th) and we also celebrate Bloomsday.   

PROGRAMME 1:

MONAGESQUE MONTAGE

Newsreel, amateur and actuality footage of the visits of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco to Ireland in 1961 and 1963

MARION AGUS AN BANPHRIONSA

Melanie Clark Pullen’s charming story about a little girl who is determined to meet Princess Grace of Monaco, as she makes her first official visit to Ireland in 1961.

Programme 1 and Programme 2 screen separately on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout June, with a double bill on Saturdays. Simply book your FREE seat by contacting the IFI Box Office on 01 679 3477 or emailing boxoffice@irishfilm.ie (given that events can sell out, please note that your emailed booking requests must be confirmed by reply email from the Box Office in order to be considered valid).

On June 15th and 16th our From the Vaults screening will celebrate Bloomsday with a screening of John Huston’s The Dead.
