George Lucas stepped away from his sci-fi pursuits, as seen in THX 1138, for this rollicking comedy drama starring a very young Richard Dreyfuss as one of a group high school grads enjoying their last night on the town before going off to college. Filled with hopes and doubts, they cruise and listen to WLS radio station, filled with the sounds of rock’n’roll. This is a film that marks the end of innocent times both for the characters and for America.
