Join us at the IFI this Christmas for some festive family favourites, classics and free screenings from the IFI Irish Film Archive throughout December! Kicking off with Mary Poppins on Dec 8th and 9th (coinciding with the release of Saving Mr. Banks), we’ll have the perennial favourite It’s A Wonderful Life showing from December 13th, followed by Meet Me in St. Louis (Dec 20th & 21st), White Christmas (Dec 21st & 23rd) and The Bishop’s Wife (Dec 22nd & 23rd).
Other special events to look out for are a special 70mm screening of Gremlins (Dec 17th), our Feast Your Eyes screening of Trading Places (followed by festive canapes and mulled wine in the IFI Cafe Bar, on Dec 18th), our IFI Family screening of March of the Penguins on Dec 29th and, throughout December, our FREE Archive at Lunchtime programme of Wintry Wonders.
